Over the years the historic Stranahan House has served many purposes in addition to being the home of one of Fort Lauderdale's founding families. It has been a trading post, a post office, a town hall and a bank. Today the house is open for guided touring. Group tours may be arranged, as well as Brownie tours, Scout tours, educational tours and more.
